Hi,
Many students were away the last week of school and some are still away so we are just catching up on spelling this week and we will be back to the regular homework package on Jan 13th. Just please continue to work on spelling words this week. Thanks, Grade 3 team There will be no homework the week of the 16th. Please just continue to read on a nightly basis these days.
Thanks, Grade 3 team Parents, Please make sure the you are initialing the pages of your child's homework to show that you are assisting them in editing their work. Please also note that students are provided with the topic for their paragraph. This is found under "topic" in this document. Thank you Grade 3
Hi Parents, Please find attached the first set of homework. Please note that hard copies will not be provided to students. As noted in the homework package- spelling will continue to be a nightly task and the other parts are due in two weeks ( Nov. 29th). Please note that the public library allows up to 50pages per month of free printing: https://calgarylibrary.ca/your-library/free-services/printing/
Hi Parents,
As per the letter that went home, we are starting off with daily grapheme homework review. These reviews take no longer than 5 minutes. As per the letter, students are needing to repeat what they did in class on the next line in the book. It is really important that students say the sounds aloud while they write down the letter they are forming. Also it is important that they remember to return these books daily so we can continue with the next lesson. This grapheme review will assist students with their spelling and with the spelling words that we will be working on later on. Other homework such as math will be posted starting in October. Thanks, Grade 3 |
