Before the Spring Break, Room 3 was doing a novel study of Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. I have included a link to the novel, including a read aloud, beginning with Chapter 10. This is where the class left off. Once students have finished reading the book, they may choose to complete activities in the Charlotte’s Web booklet in their blue ELA folder, including research about spiders and pigs (choosing a specific pig or spider, such as the garden spider will assist with this research). This may be completed over the next few days or as a supplement to the new lesson package available on Monday, April 6th. Remember that this work is totally optional, but the information is included here simply if students wish to finish reading the book or to wrap up this novel study. The children were really enjoying this story! LINK TO CHARLOTTE’S WEB: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Tg8QenwnCI Grapheme and Spelling Review
